Shamli: While medicines are meant to promote health and heal wounds and diseases, an unfortunate instance in the Kandla village, here, proved the same wrong.
Around 50 Children of Kiwana Inter College of the Village of Shamli district were immediately taken to the district hospital when their body stopped responding after they were given the tablets (Albendazole) which are used for the treatment of variety of parasitic worm infestations.

The doctors stated that they are providing the best treatment to the children so that they can be cured soon.
The incident also created chaos among the families of the children. Police said that they are investigating the matter.
