IIM-Shillong brings Kalam centre for research, analysis in NorthEast

Guwahati: Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) top set up a policy research and analysis centre in the memory of former Indian President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.

The state will set up a Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Centre for Policy Research and Analysis to facilitate analysis and research studies for states in the north eastern region. The MoU was signed on Saturday last.

“The centre would connect with various institutes throughout the North-east and establish an institutional network so as to provide the knowledge breakup,” a statement from the IIM said.

The statement added centre will serve as an innovation hub.
