Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hit hard at RJD and Congress in Bihar, accusing them of destroying a state once known for its glorious history. Speaking during rallies on the last campaign day, Yogi said Bihar’s literacy crisis began under their rule and it was their “dark and tainted past” that pushed the state backwards. He told people to vote carefully and not trust those who had brought “jungle raj” back in the day.
UP CM Slams Mahagathbandhan for Bihar’s Downfall
Addressing crowds in the Sikti Assembly area, Yogi said that those who created identity crisis for Bihar’s people were the same ones now promising jobs and progress. He reminded voters how RJD and Congress governments were responsible for fear, kidnappings, and corruption that made even educated people feel unsafe. “They committed the sin of bringing jungle raj and destroying peace,” he said, adding that the double-engine NDA government restored normalcy.
The UP CM’s tone remained fiery as he contrasted NDA’s model of governance with what he called “misrule” of opposition leaders. “Those with a dark past cannot promise a bright future,” he told the crowd amid loud cheers.
Praise for Nitish Kumar’s Leadership and Youth Progress
Yogi credited the real change in Bihar to Nitish Kumar’s leadership since 2005. He said the NDA brought awakening and progress, giving youth new direction. “Today Bihar’s youth are excelling everywhere — from civil services to startups,” he said proudly. The Chief Minister pointed out how innovation and education have become Bihar’s strength once again under the NDA rule.
He also shared figures from various government schemes, saying 46 crore people have been included in the banking network through direct benefit transfers. According to him, welfare funds now reach the poor without middlemen. “The brokerage of Congress and RJD has ended forever,” he said, taking a jab at the opposition over past scams.
Final Appeal to Voters Before Polls
In his closing appeal, Yogi Adityanath asked voters to stay alert from those who are “power-hungry” and only remember people during elections. He said NDA represents the vision of a growing Bihar while the Mahagathbandhan only symbolizes the chaos of the past. He urged citizens to make the right choice so that Bihar’s development journey continues without breaks.
As the Bihar elections move to their next phase, Yogi’s strong words have added more heat to the already charged campaign trail. Whether his message connects with the voters will soon be seen when Bihar heads to the polls.
