WhatsApp offers a limited number of users chat-specific themes: Report

Selected users are receiving chat-specific themes from Meta-owned WhatsApp. The WaBetaInfo report states that the WhatsApp for iOS 24.18.77 version includes the ability to assign chat themes to particular conversations. "We can verify that WhatsApp is also releasing a feature that allows users to assign chat themes to particular chats, even though it isn't included in the official changelog," the statement reads.

What users may expect from the new WhatsApp feature

Users of WhatsApp will be able to select from 22 different themes and 20 colors with this new functionality. According to the article, they would have more substantial customization options for their talks. The chat info panel will include the ability to select a certain theme for a particular conversation, "making it easier to differentiate between personal, work, and group chats."

A small number of customers, including those taking part in the beta program, may currently access the feature through the TestFlight app and the App Store, according to the article. "WhatsApp is rolling out themes gradually to gather feedback and ensure optimal performance before a wider release," it continues.
