Aalisha Panwar Shines in New Web Series ‘Vinny Ki Kitaab’ Releasing Dec 11

Mumbai, Dec 6 (IANS) — Popular actress Aalisha Panwar is set to feature in the upcoming web series “Vinny Ki Kitaab”, and she says the project allowed her to live her long-held dream of wearing classic, colourful chiffon sarees—something she always associated with iconic “heroine-style” looks.

The series tells the story of a small-town woman who pours her hidden desires onto paper, unaware that her written fantasies will dramatically reshape the course of her life. As she navigates longing, dignity, betrayal, and the search for her own voice, she discovers that true transformation always begins within.

Aalisha, who will be seen shooting across picturesque valleys in vibrant chiffon sarees, says the experience instantly reminded her of Sridevi’s memorable look from Chandni.

Sharing her excitement, Aalisha said:

“I always wanted to shoot in such beautiful valleys. When I heard about the script and the shoot location, trust me, I was super excited.”

Stepping into the role of Vinny, Aalisha filmed several sequences in Kasol, Himachal Pradesh.

She added:

“Some parts of the show were shot in Kasol, and the entire experience was gorgeous. I got to wear so many colourful chiffon sarees—it was my dream to don those timeless heroine-style looks, and Vinny Ki Kitaab fulfilled that dream.”

Speaking about Vinny’s emotional journey, she explained:

“The story revolves around Vinny, who writes intimate tales born from her fantasies. But the betrayal by her own husband and closest friend becomes the most heartbreaking turning point of her life.”

She further said:

“What begins as the story of a lonely housewife with no one to confide in gradually transforms into the rise of a bold, celebrated writer. It becomes a journey of passion, power, and complete reinvention—marked by unapologetic self-discovery.”

“Vinny Ki Kitaab” is scheduled to premiere on December 11, 2025, on Hungama OTT.
