71st National Film Awards: Superstar Mohanlal receives the highest honor - Dadasaheb Phalke Award

The 71st National Film Awards ceremony, one of the most prestigious celebrations of Indian cinema, took place today, September 23, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. President Droupadi Murmu presented the awards to honor the finest talents across the Indian film industry. The evening became historic as Malayalam superstar Mohanlal received the country’s highest film honor — the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
