CUET PG (PC- Social Media)

The NTA has opened the CUET PG 2026 correction window from January 28 to January 30. Candidates can fix specific details in their application forms during this period. The exam will be held in March in CBT mode. This is the final chance to correct mistakes before admit cards are issued.

The National Testing Agency made this move to help students who noticed small errors after submitting the form. Many students rush forms and later find issues. This window is meant exactly for that reason.

Who Can Use The Correction Window

Only candidates who already completed their CUET PG 2026 registration can access the correction option. New applications are not allowed now. The correction link is available on the official NTA portal.

Students must log in using their application number and password. Once logged in, editable fields will appear clearly. Changes must be saved before final submission.

Details You Are Allowed To Edit

NTA has clearly listed what can be corrected. Candidates can change date of birth, gender, category and sub-category including PwBD status. The test paper code can also be edited if selected wrongly.

Applicants who registered using an identity other than Aadhaar can update identity details. This is helpful for those who used alternative documents earlier.

One important rule is about names. Candidates can change only one of these: candidate’s name, father’s name or mother’s name. Not all three together. This rule must be followed strictly.

Details That Cannot Be Changed

Some details are locked permanently. Mobile number and email ID cannot be changed under any condition. Permanent and present address fields are also frozen.

Photograph and signature uploads are not editable. This is why NTA always advises candidates to upload clear and correct images during registration. If these are wrong, no fix is possible now.

CUET PG 2026 Exam Pattern Overview

CUET PG 2026 exams will be held in March. The test will be conducted in Computer Based Test mode. Each paper will have a duration of 90 minutes.

The exam allows students to apply for postgraduate courses in Central, State, private and Deemed Universities. Scores will be used for admission to the 2026–27 academic session.

Why This Correction Window Matters

Even small mistakes can create problems later. A wrong category or paper code can affect counselling and admission. Name mismatches can cause issues during verification.

This short correction window helps avoid such stress. Students should not wait for the last day. Server traffic often increases near deadlines.

Important Advice For Candidates

Candidates should cross-check every editable field calmly. Compare details with original documents. Once the correction window closes, no further changes will be allowed.

Keep a copy of the corrected application confirmation page. It may be needed during counselling or document checks.

What Comes Next After Corrections

After January 30, NTA will process applications and release admit cards later. Exam city slips may be issued before admit cards.

Students should focus on revision now. The form stage is almost done. A careful correction today can save big trouble tomorrow.

CUET PG 2026 remains a key gateway for postgraduate admissions across India. Using this correction window wisely is a small step that makes a big difference.
