Budget 2024: Those getting their first job will get 15 thousand in EPFO account
The Finance Minister said that the youth working for the first time in the workforce in all formal sectors will be given a month's salary.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting the first general budget of Modi government 3.0. During the budget, the Finance Minister has given a big gift to the youth getting their first job. He has said that those starting a job for the first time in the organized sector will be given 1 month's salary. If the salary is less than Rs 1 lakh, people registering for the first time in EPFO will get a help of Rs 15,000 in three installments. This salary will be released in three installments through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
The Finance Minister said that the youth working for the first time in the workforce in all formal sectors will be given a month's salary.This salary money, i.e. up to Rs 15,000, will be transferred in three installments. Those youth with their first job, whose salary will be less than Rs 1 lakh. They will get the benefit of this scheme. About 2.1 lakh youth are expected to benefit from this scheme.
While presenting the budget, the Finance Minister said that employment and skill development is one of the 9 priorities of the government. The government is going to provide huge help under this scheme to those who are working for the first time. The maximum amount given to those who are starting a job for the first time in the organized sector will be Rs 15,000. This money will be given to people registered with EPFO.
