New Delhi: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday welcomed the start of the COVID vaccination program and thanked health workers, scientists and those who volunteered for the test. Johnson said in a message on social media, 'We will beat this together'.

He also urged the public to follow the protocol of the corona epidemic with the aim of limiting the spread of the corona virus.

The vaccine has come into the world facing the covid-19 pandemic. Vaccination was started with Margaret Keenan, a 90-year-old British woman. She is the first person in the world to take a Pfizer vaccine.

Hari Shukla, an 87-year-old Bharatvanshi and his 84-year-old wife Ranjana Shukla, are also among the priority groups for vaccine in the country.

Pfizer Vaccine Trials:

This vaccination will start with health workers and social care staff. Along with workers working in care homes, who are above 80 years of age. Those taking the first dose of vaccine today will have to take a second dose after 21 days.

Vaccine demand in India increased in the midst of the Corona crisis, in which many companies developing vaccines sought permission from the Government of India to use the vaccine in an emergency.

In this episode, first Pfizer and Serum Institute and now Bharat Biotech have sought permission from DCGI for the emergency use of indigenously developed covid-19 vaccine.

Biotech asked for emergency use of corona vaccine:

Actually, Bharat Biotech and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) together are developing the indigenous covid 19 vaccine. Its name is ‘covaxine’. Bharat Biotech has sought approval from the Drug Control General of India (DCGI) for emergency use of covaxine.
