Donald Trump calls US President Barack Obama founder of ISIS

Washington: Lashing out at United States (US) President Barack Obama, Republican Party nominee for the presidential election Donald John Trump on Wednesday accused him of creating Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and said the terror outfit honoured him.

“In many respects, they (ISIS members) honour the US President,” said Trump while addressing a crowd in Florida and added, “Obama is definitely the founder of ISIS. I’m sure he is the one to have founded the terror organisation and crooked Hillary Clinton is its co-founder”.

It may be noted that Trump’s statement was to escalate his recent criticism of the Obama administration’s tackling of terror threats. Earlier, he had only accused Clinton of being connected with the terror group.
