Travel Blogger of Himachal-origin killed in shootout in Mexico restaurant

New Delhi: Anjali Rayat, a resident of Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, has died on the Caribbean coast of Mexico. In this incident, a woman from Germany, Jennifer Heinzoll, has also died. Actually this incident was happened when a shootout started between the drug mafia on the Caribbean coast of Mexico.

In this incident 5 tourists including Anjali were injured. In which two women were killed, while three tourists were injured.

Himachal girl killed in Mexico:

According to the information, Anjali had gone to Mexico to celebrate her birthday. She was an engineer by profession as well as a travel blogger. Through this, she used to give information about the beautiful places of the world to the people. Anjali was a resident of Housing Board Colony in Solan, Himachal Pradesh. Currently she lived in San Jose, California, USA. Anjali was married. Recently she shared some of her photos on Instagram.

According to media reports, on her birthday, Anjali was having dinner at Tulum Resort on the Caribbean coast. Meanwhile, due to the drug dispute between drug dealers there, firing started. Due to this incident, many tourists including Anjali present in the restaurant got caught in it and Anjali lost her life due to bullet injuries.

Her family is unable to believe the incident of Anjali's death. His family present in Himachal is now only remembering the old days spent with his daughter. Anjali's father KD Rayot says that his daughter spent three to four months with him in Solan only last year. She was in California to pursue a diploma.

On October 22, Anjali was with her husband and went to have dinner in Mexico. But as soon as Anjali bought ice cream from a store, firing started there.
