Tibet rocked by two earthquakes of mild intensity

Tibet: An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 magnitude on the Richter scale has hit the Himalayan nation of Tibet on Sunday at around 0948 hours.

No damage to life and property has been reported yet, sources said.

The epicenter of the earthquake was measured at the depth of 10 kms.

A quake, whose depth was monitored at 6 kms strikes the area at 10:05 am in Dinggye County in Xigaze.

An aftershock was also reported in the area and its depth was reported at 6 kms in the same area.
