New Delhi: The Taliban are increasing their attacks after the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan. Meanwhile, news source has reported that there has been a rocket attack at Kandahar Airport.

Rocket attack at Kandahar Airport:

Airport officials have given this information. Taliban fighters have surrounded Kandahar and fighting with Afghan security forces is currently underway in the city. An airport official told on Sunday that at least three rockets landed at Kandahar Airport in southern Afghanistan late last night.

The Taliban intensified their campaign to capture large parts of Afghanistan. Fighting between Afghan security forces and Taliban fighters continues in much of the country. Kandahar airport chief Masood Pashtun told that three rockets were fired at the airport last night and two of them hit the runway.

Taliban Attacks:

Due to this all flights from the airport have been canceled. The attack comes at a time when Taliban fighters have surrounded Herat, Lashkar Gah and Kandahar. The Taliban has made tremendous progress in the country's rural areas since the announcement of the withdrawal of foreign forces by September.

At the same time, a Kandahar MP told that the danger of Kandahar going into the hands of the Taliban is looming. Taliban fighters have entered here and are fighting a continuous war with the security forces.

So far, about 10,000 people have been displaced from Kandahar due to the war. These people have taken refuge in countries like Pakistan, Iran. In fact, the Taliban also wants to capture Kandahar so that it can be made the temporary capital of the organization. Let us tell you that the Taliban was born in Kandahar itself.
