Switzerland's Basel city witnesses gunfire, two killed

Basel (Switzerland): At least two people were killed and one was severely injured after a gunfire broke out at a cafe in Basel City of Switzerland in the evening of Thursday.

Though the reason behind the attack was yet not known.The police said that the incident does not have any relation with Islamists or terrorism.

• The forensic officials were immediately rushed to the incident spot and the injured were taken to the nearby hospital.
• The shooters fled away from the scene, after firing, in the direction of railway station.

The senior official stated, "Two men came into Cafe 56 at around 2015 hours and fired several rounds of shots. We are probing the matter."
