Suicide car bomb attack kills 35, injures 61 in Baghdad

Baghdad: At least 35 people died while 61 others sustained injuries in a suicide car bomb attack in the remote area of Sadr city of eastern Baghdad on Monday.

Several nearby shops and vehicles were also destroyed in the deadly attack.

No terrorist group has taken the responsibility of the attack yet. In most cases, Islamic State has remained responsible for such attacks.

The attack came minutes after the arrival of French President Francois Hollande in the Iraq capital.
