New Delhi: There have been reports of suicide bombings by some people in Indonesia. Two suicide bombers exploded outside a Roman Catholic church here after Sunday prayers. According to the report many people injured in this incident.

Suicide Bombing:

At the same time, Indonesia's national police say that on Sunday, two suspected suicide bombers blew themselves up outside a Catholic church in Makassar city, injuring about 14 people. However, no deaths confirmed yet.

Many injured in the attack:

This accident carried out on the first day of the Holy Week of Easter (Palm Sunday). This week is very special for Christians. Police said the prayer was going on inside the church on Sulawesi Island at the time of the blast and it exploded as soon as the prayer was over.

It is worth mentioning that soon after the incident the local police became active and on its behalf a statement was made earlier that no casualties were reported from those who attended the prayer in Makassar town of South Sulawesi province.

One person killed:

The police also said that only one person killed in the attack and it is believed that he attacked. The South Sulawesi police chief said the explosion occurred outside the church at 10.35 am.

Argo Yuwono, a spokesman for Indonesia's national police, said the agency concerned was investigating which militant gang the attackers came from, or whether the attack was linked to the recent arrests of suspected terrorists. Significantly, in January this year, the country's anti-terror unit raided a militant hideout in Makassar and was shot dead by two suspects who were involved in a double blast in the Philippines church in 2019. More than 20 people lost their lives in this attack.
