New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached US on a three-day visit. During this, the Prime Minister will take part in many programs as well as hold talks with other world leaders including US President Joe Biden and will also address the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

The Prime Minister reached Washington at around 3.30 am Indian time. On the first day of his US visit, PM Modi will hold meetings with Australian counterpart Scott Morrison, US Vice President Kamala Harris and select heads of major companies. In which India has the potential to invest a lot.

PM Modi US Visit:

According to sources, Prime Minister Modi will start his day with a meeting with the heads of giant companies in the US. CEOs will include heads of Qualcomm, Adobe, Blackstone, General Atomics and First Solar. This meeting will be held at 7.10 pm Indian time.

After this, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to meet Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison at 11 pm. The official said Prime Minister Modi is looking forward to meeting Prime Minister Marison on a range of issues. The two leaders have met on several occasions during various international conferences. Prime Minister Marison recently called Prime Minister Modi and informed him about the AUKUS alliance formed to compete with China.

PM to meet Joe Biden & Kamala Harris:

US President Joe Biden will host PM Modi at the White House on September 24. This is going to be the first in-person meeting between the two leaders since Biden took office as US President on January 20. He will then meet Vice President Kamala Harris in her formal office. During this, many issues related to the interests of both the sides are expected to be discussed.

Ahead of leaving for the US to attend the Quad Leaders Summit, the Prime Minister on Wednesday said his visit would be an opportunity to strengthen strategic partnerships with the United States, Japan and Australia.
