New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday arrived in Brussels, which witnessed a terror attack few days ago.

Modi will attend the 13th India-EU Summit in Brussels.

The India-EU summit:

The Prime Minister in his message before leaving for Brussels said that his visit will advance multifaceted engagement across a whole range of sectors and described the 28-member bloc as a ‘vital trading partner’.

Washington and Saudi Arabia

The PM will leave for Washington from Brussels to attend the Nuclear Security Summit on March 31 and April 1. He will also travel to Saudi Arabia on a two-day visit with a focus on boosting energy and security cooperation.

Brussels terror bombing:

The terror bombing at Brussels airport claimed at least 32 lives and wounded over 300 people on March 22 last.

Raghvendran Ganeshan:

Raghavendran Ganeshan, an Indian and Infosys employee was killed in the attack. India's ambassador to Belgium had confirmed on Monday. His body was found by Belgian authorities in the metro train at Maelbeek station where one of the bombs went off.
