Pakistan launches self produced COVID-19 vaccine 'PakVac'

New Delhi: Pakistan has claimed to make a domestic vaccine for the corona virus. It has been named PakVac. It was also launched during a ceremony on Tuesday. Dr Faisal Sultan gave information about this vaccine. Sultan is also the health advisor to Prime Minister Imran Khan. Earlier, Pakistan was procuring vaccines from China and Russia. However, Sultan has not given any information about the efficacy of this vaccine.

PakVac launched by Pakistan:

Sultan said- We have prepared our vaccine. We will start mass production in a few days. Talking to the media on the occasion of the vaccine launch, Dr Faisal said – It was necessary for our country that we prepare our own vaccine. Now it is ready, so soon we will start mass production of it.

Pak PM claims first self made corona vaccine:

Faisal said that our team had to face many difficulties in preparing this vaccine. During this, China stood firmly with us as our friend. The team from the National Institutes of Health also did a great job.

Sultan further said that preparing the vaccine from raw material was a big challenge in itself. Today we are proud that our team has succeeded in preparing the vaccine despite all the difficulties. Today is a very important day for the country.

National Command and Operation Center Chief Asad Umar, who was present on the same occasion, said that the number of infected in the third wave of Corona is much higher than in the previous two waves. At present, about 60 percent of the patients are on oxygen support.

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong was also present on the occasion. He said, the production of this vaccine shows how strong our friendship with Pakistan is. Pakistan was the first country to accept the gift of China's vaccine.
