Bus collision kills 30, injures 69 in Pakistan

Islamabad: At least 30 people were killed while 69 others sustained injuries in a collision between two buses Punjab province of Pakistan on Monday.

The accident took place in Rahim Yar Khan district, said media reports.

As per health officials, death toll may rise as few are severely injured.

Police said that the both the vehicles are running on high speed which could be the reason of mishap.

Police officials are using cutters to rescue the victims who are struck below the buses.

Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif condoled and expressed sorrow over the loss of lives.
