Devastating flood in North Korea claims 60 lives, injures several others
Pyongyang: At least 60 persons were killed and several others injured in floods which also damaged houses and infrastructure in North Korea on Wednesday, said authorities.
Media reports said around 560 buildings, 30 factories and 20 educational institutions collapsed in the mishap in the Hamgyong region alone.
Flood also destroyed roads, dams and bridges.
Rescue measures have been taken by the government of North Korea to help the marooned people .Food and other necessities too have been provided.
As many as 25 people are reported to be missing.
