New Delhi: Giving information about the marriage, Malala Yousafzai tweeted, 'Today is a very precious day of my life. Me and Asser have become lifelong companions. We got married in Birmingham in the presence of our families. Bless us. We are excited to work together on the road ahead.'

Malala also shared some pictures from the nikah with Asser Malik and family on Twitter. Both of them are seen getting married in a simple ceremony.

"Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life," she wrote on Instagram, adding two pictures to her post. "Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead," she added.

Priyanka Chopra congratulated Malala. The actress wrote, "Congratulations @malala Wishing you so much joy and happiness…You are an absolute vision."

Famous vlogger Lilli Singh also wished Malala on SM. Lilly Singh congratulated Malala. Hollywood star called Malala's nikah ceremony a "wonderful moment."

Pakistani human rights activist Yousafzai was shot dead by Taliban militants in the Swat Valley in 2012 when she was returning home from school for raising her voice for girls' education without any fear.

Yousafzai was brought to Birmingham, England, for better treatment. After recovery, Yousafzai resumed school and graduated from Oxford in June 2020. During this too, she continued to raise her voice for the education and betterment of girls.

On getting information about Yousafzai's marriage, people are sending him congratulatory and congratulatory messages.
