The two got engaged 2 years ago, they also have a daughter. Ardern did not specify the date of the wedding, but said that she could marry in the summer of the southern hemisphere, which takes place between December and February in New Zealand. 2018 both gave birth to daughter Neve.

It could have been a romantic moment, but people unaware of the incident posed a threat to the police.
