New Delhi: Blaming Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Army Chief Raheel Sharif for the attack on Shah Noorani shrine, Baloch nationalist leader Naela Baloch on Sunday tagged both as the faces behind the loss of at least 52 lives.

“The attack was done by Raheel Sharif and Nawaz Sharif,” said Naela Baloch.

What else Baloch leader Naela said?

  • The Shah Noorani shrine hold great importance, people from across the world come here to pray.
  • It is a very sacred soil. This is an attempt to help Daesh strengthen their roots in Balochistan.
  • And even the Pakistani Army and its government are also trying to help Daesh to spread their wing across Balochistan.

At least 52 died while more than 100 injured on Saturday in a blast at Shah Noorani shrine in Balochistan province of Pakistan. Women and children were also among the killed.

The explosion had taken place when devotees were attending dhamaal (a Sufi dance) at the shrine. Confirming the mishap, Balochistan interior minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti had condoled the loss of lives.

The shrine is located in the one of the most remote regions. Injured were rushed to the nearby hospitals and the area has been cordoned off by the security officials. A local, however, said that security arrangements in the shrine were improper.

The Islamic State (IS) has claimed the responsibility of the attack.
