Lucknow: All those who have travelled through an airplane must be well aware of the fact that no weapons or harmful materials are allowed to be taken along with us while we board a flight. But what if you are forced to remove your shirt just because of some usual print on it!!

Sounds strange but this shocking incident actually took place when a 10 year old boy, Stevie Lucas, travelling from Johannesburg to New Zealand, was forced to change his shirt at the airport only because it had snake printed on it.

According to a report by the sources, the boy’s family claims that he was forced to change his shirt before boarding the plane because authorities claimed that it could cause anxiety to other passengers.

The news was shared on Twitter by a page called Aviation Fail with the caption, "A Boy, 10, is forced to take his shirt off before boarding a flight from #NewZealand to #SouthAfrica because it had a picture of a reptile on it."

Stevie was visiting his grandparents in South Africa and when he arrived at the OR Tambo airport, the said incident took place. The boy was wearing a black T-shirt which featured a large green snake printed on it and when the authorities saw it they declared that it was not proper clothing to be worn onboard on a flight, reports said.

According to Daily Mail, Stevie’s parents Steve and Marga revealed that when security officers saw the shirt they started telling them about rules pertaining to snake toys and clothing.

In order to sort the situation out, the parents of the boy then asked him to wear his T-shirt inside out. In fact, airport security footage also shows Stevie taking off his shirt and turning it inside out.

So next time you plan to board a flight, re-check what you have planned to wear as next time you can be in place of this little kid!!
