'Khalistani' Flags waved in Washington; Anti Farm Law activists deface Bapu Statue

New Delhi: As the Farmers Protest in India is going since very long. Many other countries and people living in other countries are supporting them. In this series, many disturbing powers are also trying to fulfill their wrong intentions.

On Saturday, demonstrations took place in front of the Indian Embassy in Washington in support of farmers' demands. In this demonstration, the statue of Bapu (Mahatma Gandhi) near the Indian embassy was vandalized.

Reports says during the protest, flags of Khalistan also waved. Earlier, in Khalistan flags also waved during demonstrations outside the Indian High Commission in London.

Canada, US, UK Officials are in support of Indian Farmers:

Demonstrations are continuing in many countries including the US, UK, Canada in support of the farmers movement. Antonio Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, has supported the demonstration of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau farmers.

On the demonstration of the farmers, the Secretary-General of the United Nations had said that anyone has the right to protest in a peaceful manner. Kanada PM Justin Trudeau also openly supported the farmers' demands.

PM Modi on Famers Protest:

“We had seen walls between the agriculture sector and other areas associated with it – be it agriculture infrastructure, food processing, storage or cold chain.We don’t want walls. We want bridged. All walls and obstacles removed now. After reforms, farmers will get new markets, options and more benefits of technology,” Modi said delivering the keynote address at the 93rd Annual General Meeting of FICCI.
