Israel-Palestine Conflict: Death toll in Gaza climbs to 35 in rocket attack
It is reported that 35 Palestinians and 5 Israelis have been killed in this war so far.
New Delhi: For weeks, the tension between Israel and Hamas has turned violent. Overnight, the death toll in the attacks between the two sides has risen sharply. Hamas has also fired about 200 rockets at Israel, in which one Indian has also died.
Rocket attack in Israel:
It is reported that 35 Palestinians and 5 Israelis have been killed in this war so far. Meanwhile, emergency has been imposed in view of violence in the city of Lod.
U.N. Middle East peace envoy Tor Wennesland tweeted: "Stop the fire immediately. We're escalating towards a full scale war. Leaders on all sides have to take the responsibility of de-escalation.
"The cost of war in Gaza is devastating & is being paid by ordinary people. UN is working w/ all sides to restore calm. Stop the violence now," he wrote.
35 People died in attack:
The conflict, which began with the prayer on the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, is now turning into a war between Israelis and Palestinians. Rockets are being fired continuously from both sides.
An Indian woman has also died in Israel in the attack. The death toll in the Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip has reached 35. The Israeli military says at least 16 terrorists have been killed in the attack. According to Israeli military spokesman Jonathan Conricus, Hamas has fired about 200 rockets at Israel.
