Hillary Clinton cancels her California visit on medical advice

Clinton was scheduled to spend two days in the state for a charity event and was also slated to attend the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

According to Dr. Lisa Bardack," Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday and was advised bed rest."

Dr. Bardack also attended Clinton at her residence on Sunday and said," Clinton became overheated and dehydrated. I have examined her and she is re-hydrating and recovering well."

It is a non- medical term often used to describe a mild case of pneumonia. Walking Pneumonia is also called atypical pneumonia as it is different from pneumonia and no hospitalisation is required.

It is caused by an infection with viruses or bacteria.
