New Delhi: The third wave of Corona in France has forced the government to impose a nationwide lockdown. President Emanuel Macron on Wednesday ordered a nationwide lockdown and said schools should be closed for three weeks to help push back the third wave of the covid-19 infection. Also, else the third wave could overwhelm hospitals. Emanuel Macron said that 'if we don't take concrete steps yet, we will lose control of Corona'.

Complete Lockdown in France:

Emanuel Macron has announced a four-week nationwide lockdown from Saturday. In a message broadcast on television, he said that during this period only the essential goods shops would be allowed to open and people would have to work from home instead of offices.

He also said that public meetings will be completely banned during this period. For more than 10 kilometers away from their homes without proper reason will also be prohibited.

Schools closed amid corona spread:

Schools will also be closed for three weeks from next week. He said that on this Friday, people will be allowed to go to the place where they want to stay during the lockdown. Macron said that cases of corona infection are increasing in the country but it is not difficult to control it, so people need not be afraid.

According to the dashboard of Johns Hopkins University, the total number of infected people in France has reached 46.46 lakhs whereas so far 95,502 people have died due to the corona virus. Currently 5,000 people are admitted in ICU due to corona. In recent times, there has been an increase in the number of infections due to the corona virus of the new variant of Britain.

According to the World Health Organization, on March 31, 29,575 cases of infection were reported in a single day. On the other hand, 41,682 cases were registered on March 28 and 37,014 on March 29.
