Donald Trump calls off his Chicago rally due to violent protest

Chicago: United States Presidential candidate Donald Trump on Saturday has to call of his rally after the venue witnessed a violent clash between his supporters and agitators.

A fight broke out inside the auditorium before an hour of the rally and the rally postponed few minutes before Trump was to appear, international media reported.

“The rally has been postponed in the view of safety of all ten thousand people,” read Trump’s statement.
