Former Cuban leader Fidel Castro passes away at 90

The former Cuban Prime Minister Fidel Castro passed away at the age of 90 on November 25 .He was being diagnosed with the intestinal disease since 2006.

Havana (Cuba): The former Cuban Prime Minister and a revolutionary leader Fidel Castro passed away at the age of 90 on November 25.

He was being diagnosed with the intestinal disease since 2006.

Raul Castro, president of Cuba announced the death of his brother early on Saturday. “The commander in chief of the Cuban revolution died at 2229 hours on Friday,” announced the President on national television.

Fidel Castro was the Prime Minister of Cuba from 1959 to 1976 and later he served the country as the President from 1976 to 2008.

He was the one who converted Cuba into a one-party socialist state under Communist Party rule.
