New Delhi: US President Joe Biden is going to exempt from November the ban on entry of foreign nationals into the country due to the Corona pandemic. People who have received the full dose of the anti-corona vaccine from November will be allowed to enter the US.

Vaccination mandatory:

Jeff Zients, the White House Coordinator on Corona Affairs, said that foreign nationals will have to show full vaccinations as well as three previous negative corona test reports before boarding the plane.

Zients announced a new policy on Monday regarding travel to the US for foreign nationals. He said that the Biden administration has also tightened the rules of investigation for American citizens returning without getting vaccinated. Such people will have to undergo a corona test a day before starting the journey and within a day of arriving in the US. People who are fully vaccinated will not need to be in quarantine.

After the Corona pandemic, the US banned the arrival of foreign nationals early last year. It started with Chinese citizens, after which citizens of many other countries including India and Britain were also brought under its purview.

Zients said that airlines will also be asked to collect their phone numbers and other information from passengers so that they can be contacted easily if the infection is detected. However, he did not say that people who get the vaccine will be allowed to come. Gents said a decision would be taken by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) about it before November. He said that the new policy will be implemented from November, so that before that, airlines and other travel agencies can get time to implement the protocol according to the new rules.
