Corona in America: Over 11 lakh new COVID-19 cases, highest number in a year

New Delhi: The Omicron variant may be said to be less lethal, but the number of new corona patients in the US has reached a new record level. According to data from Johns Hopkins University, on Sunday, the total covid-19 cases in the US reached 60 million. There have also been 8,37,594 deaths in the country since January 2020.

Staff shortage in hospitals:

Due to the highly infectious Omicron variant, the recruitment of covid patients is increasing rapidly, so many hospitals in the US have stopped surgery for other patients. According to statistics, more than 2130 patients are getting infected every day in America per 10 lakh people. Along with this, he is moving ahead on the path of Britain regarding the pandemic.

On the other hand, there is a worrying increase in covid-19 cases in France. The conditions there are like Britain. According to an average of seven days, France has about 4,000 daily cases per 1 million people.

Corona in India:

According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, the total number of infected in the country has increased to 3,58,75,790, out of which 3.45 crore have been cured. There has been a slight decrease in new cases of infection compared to Monday. Yesterday there were 1.79 lakh cases of infection.
