Cooperate with India in Uri attack investigation: US to Pakistan

New York: United States Secretary of State John Kerry has asked Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to cooperate with India in investigating the terror attack on army headquarters in Kashmir’s Uri sector.

The incident was discussed between the two leaders in a meeting on the sidelines of United Nations General Assembly in New York City.

“The Secretary urged the Pakistani Premiere to cooperate in the investigation,” said a State Department official.

“We are awaiting further information on the attack. Moreover, US has also offered its assistance to the Indian government in this regard,” the official added.
