Brazil ties up with a US company to make vaccine against Zika
Rio: Marcelo Castro, health minister of Brazil announced an international partnership to produce vaccine for the dreaded Zika virus.
“University of Texas and Evandro Chagas of Brazil has signed the pact to produce the vaccine for Zika,” said Castro on Thursday.
Brazil will spend around $2 million for this project while the amount to be invested by the US side was yet to be disclosed.
