Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej dies at 88, PM Modi condoles

Bangkok: Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who was a ninth monarch of Thailand, died at the age of 88 here on Thursday.

The admired king of Thai people took his last breaths at 3:52 pm in the Siriraj Hospital. There were shouts of ‘Long live the king’ outside the hospital. On October 8, he had received hemodialysis treatment.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the death of Thai King on his Twitter handle.
