New Delhi: The Chinese app Tik Tok is in doubt in many countries of the world. In India, the Tik Tok app has been previously banned. Preparations are on to ban this Chinese app in the US, but at present it has been postponed. The US government said that banning Tik Tok would be delayed. The government has said that the Chinese will abide by the court's decision in favor of the company.

The US has banned the video app in view of national security concerns, but the Commerce Department said the ban has been lifted following an order issued by the court on October 30.

Tik Tok ban removed in USA:

On behalf of the Commerce Department, it has been said that currently the ban on the Tik Tok app has been postponed. The Commerce Department said the shutdown order has not been implemented. Further legal proceedings are underway. Other court cases are still pending.

Court's order on Tik Tok:

Tik Tok owned by Chinese company BiteDance appealed in court against President Donald Trump's order. Hearing this, a federal court stayed Bain's order. The federal court judge commented that when it comes to shopping, then how can you ban that app.

The US government is seeking to sell Tik Tok to an American business company over security threats. But any deal is yet to be finalized. Bytdance has proposed to the IT company Oracle to create a new company for a business partner. 100 million people in the US use Tik Tok.

Significantly, President Trump and his allies have claimed that ByteDance, a Chinese company owned by Tik Tok, steals data from Americans so that it can be spied. However, the company has denied these allegations.
