New Delhi: After the Capitol Hill (Parliament) violence in the US on January 6, the police department is in great panic and so far 70 policemen have left their jobs.

Capitol Hill Violence:

Capitol Hill Police Union President Gus Papathnasieu says officers are frustrated and are looking for a way to overcome this frustrating situation. They do not want to live with stress in the long run of investigation.

70 Policemen resigned from the Post:

He said that on Thursday, the US Parliament passed a budget of 1.2 billion dollars (about one lakh 36 crore rupees). This has been given to raise additional resources for the Capitol Hill Police.

This budget cannot be effective in curbing the increasing trend of violence. Some recent events are enough to prove this. In April, a man entered the Capitol Hill area and shot two policemen. In one incident, a person got out of the car in the same area and stabbed and injured the policemen. Later a policeman was killed. Violence was carried out on 6 January.
