Naeem said that all embassies and foreign diplomatic missions in Kabul are safe. He appealed to his citizens to live in an efficient manner with full confidence. According to reports, the Taliban will soon launch a campaign for the restoration of the Islamic Republic in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, former Afghan President Hamid Karzai, Abdullah Abdullah and former Mujahideen leader Gulbuddin Hekmetyar have formed the Coordination Council to peacefully transfer power to the Taliban and prevent chaos.
