Moradabad: Young and energetic District Magistrate (DM) of Moradabad Mr. Zuhair Bin Saghir (2006 batch, UP cadre IAS) will not attend mid-career training programme.

Recently, some of the officers were relieved for mid-career training including the DMs namely Kaushal Raj Sharma (Kanpur), Rajshekhar (Rampur), Suhas L Y ( Azamgarh), Adarsh Singh (Pratapgarh), Pawan Kumar ( Badaun) and Saroj Kumar (Banda).

Mr. Saghir's name was also there but he got exemption at last minute.

Normally, the officers get three opportunities for the same and these seven have exhausted previous two calls. According to an official spokesman, it was their last chance to respond to the call of Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
