Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a review meeting with Team 11. At the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath told the officials that 'focus teams' should be formed in every district to prevent infection.

CM Yogi Adityanath has decided to stop the dearness allowance proposed by the state employees from January and dearness relief for pensioners from today.

Along with this, the government has also suspended six types of allowances. The UP government has also banned dearness allowance (DA). Now employees and pensioners will not get DA either. DA will remain closed from January 1, 2020 to June 2021. Apart from this, Secretariat Allowance, Police Allowance has also been discontinued.

No public gathering during Ramzan:

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that even in Ramadan, religious leaders of Muslim community have appealed to stay in the house to offer Namaz. Therefore, it should be ensured that no event takes place.

Chief Minister Yogi has ordered all the district Magistrates that no public and collective programs will be allowed in the state till June 30.

Lockdown2.0: Current Situation in India

So far, 24506 people have been infected with the corona virus, while 775 people have died. As of late Thursday, 1,229 new cases of infection have been reported and 34 people have died. Currently, 17,610 infected patients are under treatment. So far 5063 people have also recovered from corona.
