Yogi Govt completes 4.5 years, emerges as the most transparent, development-oriented

Lucknow: The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh, which came to power in 2017, is completing its four and a half years on Sunday. In line with the goal of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas', UP has emerged as the most transparent and growth-oriented government in state's history.

Yogi Govt completes 4.5 years

To mark the completion of 4.5 years, a grand ceremony has been organized at Lok Bhavan on September 19, where CM Yogi along with the Council of Ministers, will discuss the government's journey so far. Programmes will be organized in all the districts.

UP, which was facing the brunt of being the fifth number economy in the country with the image of BIMARU, has emerged as the second strongest economy in the country with constant efforts.

Empowering the youths of the State, over 4.5 lakh youth received government jobs in the last four and a half years. With schemes like Mission Shakti and campaigns like Anti Romeo Squad, the Yogi-led UP government has worked towards safeguarding women and making them self-reliant.

Till 2017, the unemployment rate in the state was up to 17 percent, whereas today it has come down to 4 percent. The UP Model of Covid management has received laurels from all across the world including the World Health Organisation.

The common people of UP people have benefited substantially due to the 'Double Engine' government. As a result, be it PM Kisan Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission, Ujjwala Scheme, and Ujala Scheme or food grains production, Uttar Pradesh is at the top position in all.

Among the biggest policy triumphs of the Yogi Government in Uttar Pradesh has been its resolve to transform the lives of farmers and making them self-reliant and prosperous. In its 4.5 years of governance, over Rs 2.94 lakh crore has been transferred to the account of farmers.

Over 45.74 lakh sugarcane farmers in Uttar Pradesh have been paid a record cane price payment of more than Rs 1,44,000 crore between 2017-2021 which indicates the pro-farmer stance of the government.

With its zero-tolerance against crime and criminals, the state has realised the dream of 'Apradh mukt Uttar Pradesh' in its 4.5 years. The opposition parties have also been appreciating the law and order system of UP. The state has not witnessed even a single communal riot in the last 54 months.

UP has risen to number two in the national ranking of 'Ease of Doing Business' within four and half years. The state has become the best business and investment destination in India.

In the last four and a half years, the government has taken concrete steps to provide world-class connectivity and brought the government's plans and other benefits to the last person in the queue.

With infrastructure projects like Purvanchal Expressway, Bundelkhand Expressway, Gorakhpur Link Expressway, Ballia Link Expressway, and Ganga Expressway, the state has written a new era of development.

The state now boasts of doing landmark work in the aviation sector will soon have one more international airport at Kushinagar. Ongoing construction work of international airports at Jewar and Ayodhya will give wings to the aviation in the state.

This transparent work culture with a dedicated and committed workforce is the hallmark of this brand new Uttar Pradesh.
