Warrant issued against former Union Minister Beni Prasad Verma
A case of violation of the Code of Conduct against Verma, is still pending in the court and the police station, under which the case is filed, is alleged of deliberately delaying the proceedings on the case.
Lucknow: The Special Court has issued a bail warrant against former Union Steel Minister, Beni Prasad Verma in the trial for the provoking speech during the election meeting.
The next hearing of the case is scheduled on February 22, 2019. This order has been given by Special Judge Pawan Kumar Tiwari, after hearing to ADGC Rajesh Gupta.

The incident date backs to May 4, 2014 election meeting, when former Union Steel Minister Beni Prasad Verma, allegedly gave a provocative speech about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS, in Balrampur district.
