It may be recalled that the minister has recently called Prime Minister Narendra Modi “ coward” which was not liked by many political leaders including some in his own party.

Asked about the law and order situation in the state, governor, however, replied that he has been meeting the chief minister Akhilesh Yadav quite often and discussing the situation with him. Whenever needed he has given his advice on the subject.

Naik is an annual visitor to the city during the Ganesh Puja. He had come here last year too.
