Kushinagar: Rizwan Farooq, who was linked with the international terrorist Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group and arrested by the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) and Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) teams in Kushinagar of Uttar Pradesh is reported to be the youngest jihadi of India.

According to his High School mark sheet he is just 16 years old. However, at the time of his hearing, court announced him as an adult boy.

Rizwan ISIS connection:

  • He was arrested by ATS and NIA teams on January 22, 2016.
  • Rizwan was in direct connection to IS Chief Abu Bakra Al-Baghdadi.
  • He was trying to go Syria and to fight against American soldiers.

Rizwan’s age:

  • According to his High School mark sheet his age was only 16 years.
  • His date of birth is May 12, 1999.
  • Ritesh Chaudhary, Principal of Buddha Inter College confirmed his age.

Used social media:

  • Rizwan got in touch with ISIS through Facebook.
  • He got in touch with ISIS around 8 months back.
  • He was invited to Chennai by ISIS.
  • He was paid Rs 1lakh in advance by terror outfit.

Rizwan’s family:

  • Rizwan’s uncle Riyazuddin demanded probe to know how he got connected with ISIS.
  • Riyazudin also said that he should be fired.
  • Rizwan’s father is an Accountant.
  • His maternal uncles are in Indian Army.
