Truck collides with bus in Kushinagar, one killed

Kushinagar: At least one person was killed and more than six were injured when a truck collided with bus in Kushinagar.

• The incident occurred on NH 28 in Pipra Bazar in Kushinagar.
• The injured were immediately taken nearby hospital.

The body of the deceased was sent for post mortem and the family members were informed.

According to the police, "The driver was drunk and lost his control over the steering which led to an accident."

The police further stated that they are interrogating the driver.

More details regarding the incident are awaited.

It may be mentioned that eight people were killed when an ambulance rammed into the truck standing on the roadside in the Chureb Kotwali area of Sant Kabir nagar on February 13.

The ambulance was on its way to Lucknow from Gorakhpur.
