FIR lodged against Dr Ayub for calling Adityanath 'terrorist'

Gorakhpur: An FIR has been lodged against the National President of the Peace Party, Dr. Mohamed Ayub for calling BJP MP Yogi Adityanath terrorist. Hindu Yuva Vahini has lodged a First Information Report (FIR) in Cantonment Police Station under sections 295, 500, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

What was the case?

• Mohamed Ayub had tagged the BJP MP Yogi Adityanath as a ‘terrorist’
• He was speaking to media while addressing a rally organized by Nishad Ekta Parishad in Gorakhpur

What Ayub said?

• He had said that no member of the Muslim or Nishad community ever became CM or PM since Independence
• They are dividing the society on basis of religion and caste
• Muslims on a whole are considered as ‘terrorist’ but the truth is Yogi Adityanath himself is a terrorist
