Gorakhpur: Breaching the model code of conduct, Bahujan Samaj Party's (BSP) Chief Zonal coordinator and former Member of Parliament Ghanshyam Chandra Kharwar gave a controversial statement regarding ticket distribution in Bhartiya Janata Party and Samajwadi Party.
The former MP, on Thursday, stated that BJP distributes tickets to those who spread communal riots while SP supports rapists and murderers. Kharwar was speaking at an event organised by the backward class community of Bahujan Samaj Party at Champa Devi Park in Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
What else Kharwar said?
- Our party distributes tickets to those candidates who think about the benefit of society.
- BSP gives the tickets to the candidates on the basis of goodwork.
- We do not care whether the candidate is rich or poor but we make sure that he has earned respect and goodwill.
- We assure you that our party will win more than 300 seats in the upcoming elections and Mayawati will be elected as the next CM of Uttar Pradesh.
