BJP MP Adityanath demands action against Islamic preacher

Gorakhpur: Bhartiya Janata Party MP Adityanath demaded on Friday an inquiry into sources of his income of Islamic preacher Zakir Nayak and action against him for “ provocative” statements.

Briefing media persons about Prime Minister Naredra Modi’s programme here , he said it is the people like him who have defamed the Muslim religion.

Referring to the video of senior congress Digvijay Singh sharing stage with him, the Mahant said such people in the party have caused the maximum damage to it. Congress Muslim appeasement policies too were responsible for this kind of situation.

Television channels like Peace which air his views and which vitiate the atmosphere should be banned immediately,added.
