UPMRC holds PREBID meeting for Kanpur and Agra Metro Projects

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (UPMRCL) today conducted prebid meeting for various tenders related to Kanpur & Agra Metro projects. Another meeting is also planned for the tenders of Kanpur & Agra Metro projects.

Since the Central and respective State Government’s orders of observing nationwide lockdown till 3rd May, 2020, UPMRC has been successfully conducting its day to day official work & related matters.

The nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of Covid-19 (Novel Corona Virus) hasn’t put UPMRC in backseat due to its dedicated executive staff and other workforce which has been working from home day in & day out for the speedy progress of the project work of Kanpur & Agra Metro.

The details & specifications of the various tenders for which prebid meeting was organised are as follows:

KNPAGT-02 Supply of Standard Gauge UIC 60 Turnouts, Scissor Crossovers, Check Rails etc. for Kanpur and Agra Metro

KNPAGT-04 Supply of 1620 MT Rails (UIC 60 / 60E1 IRS-T-2009, 880 grade, class A) for Kanpur & Agra Metro

Another pre-bid meeting is also planned for tomorrow i.e. 30.04.2020 for the Kanpur & Agra Metro projects. The details of the tender are mentioned below:

KNPAGT-01 Supply of 17,700 MT Head Hardened Rails (60 E1, IRS-T-12-2009, 1080 grade HH) for Kanpur & Agra Metro.
